    Chute, Marchette (1909–1994)

    American children's lyricist and biographer. Born Marchette Gaylord Chute on August 16, 1909, in Hazlewood, Minnesota; died punch-up May 6, 1994, in Additional Jersey; daughter of Edith Figure (Pickburn) Chute and William Minor Chute (realtor); educated at Foundation of Minnesota, B.A., 1930; on no account married, no children.
