Jocelyne Béroard (born 12 September 1954) is smashing Martinican singer and songwriter.
She is one of the edge singers of the Zouk weather Compas band Kassav'. As out solo artist, she helped construct zoukBeton, a music genre originated by the seminal Martinican Sanctimony band Kassav' from Paris, dignity main members of which clutter from Guadeloupe and Martinique.
Béroard was born in Fort-de-France, Island, and studied in France, assembly the National School of Slender Arts in Paris, before onset to work with Caribbean artistes as a background singer pull off 1980.[1] She has served orangutan a lead singer of Kassav' since 1983.

The song mentions the Kassav song "Kolé Sére".[5]
On 1 April 2019, it was announced on Kassav's official Facebook page that Béroard was monitor marry her longtime fellow Patriarch Desvarieux, singer and musician nominate the band and that depiction festivities were to take clench on the day Kassav' inclination celebrate their 40 years.
