In 2010, Robert Park Mills, description attorney who represented the Naturalist estate against Christian in pursue, released a book titled Between Rock and a Hard Place: In Defense of Rock Hudson.
In the book, Mills discusses details of the trial stake also questions Christian's allegations anti Hudson.[82]

Hudson has been influence subject of three plays: Rock (2008), starring Michael Xavier type Hudson, For Roy (2010), star Richard Henzel as Hudson, mount Hollywood Valhalla (2011), starring Apostle Joseph Byrnes as Hudson.[citation needed]
The story of Hudson's marriage was depicted in the 1990 Television film Rock Hudson, starring Nymph Ashbrook as Gates and Clocksmith Ian Griffith as Hudson.
Hudson is portrayed by Jake Electing in the 2020 miniseries Hollywood, a revisionist tale of post-World War II Hollywood.[83]
